CartHero - Installing The Shopify Integration

CartHero integrates with Shopify allowing you to:

• Sync your Shopify products & sell them on your CartHero funnels

• Sync your CartHero orders to Shopify for order management / fulfillment

IMPORTANT: For the Shopify integration to function properly, the access permissions must be set and saved exactly as they are listed in this help doc. The correct permissions must be set and saved correctly before entering the API credentials into CartHero.

1. Inside your CartHero account click on Settings in the top right corner

 

2. Click on Integrations

 

3. Find the Shopify integration

 

4. Click on Add Shopify integration

 

5. Insert your Shopify store url

 

6. Enable custom app development from the Shopify admin

Before you can create a custom app for your store, you need to enable custom app development. You need to be the store owner or a staff member with the Enable app development permission to enable custom app development.

Steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels.

2. Click Develop apps.

3. Click Allow custom app development.

4. Read the warning and information provided, and then click Allow custom app development.

 

7. Click on Create an app

 

8. Name Your App "CartHero" & Select A User

 

9. Click on Create app

 

10. Click on Configuration

 

11. Click on Configure under the Admin API Integration

 

12. Under the Assigned Fulfillment Orders section select "Read_assigned_fulfilment_order"

 

13. Under the Discount section select "read_discount"

 

14. Under the Gift card section select "read_gift_card"

 

15. Under the inventory section select "read_inventory"

 

16. Under the Order Editing section select "write_order_edits" & "read_order_edits"

 

17. Under the Orders section select "write_order" & "read_orders"

 

18. Under the Products section select "read_products"

 

19. Click on Save

 

20. Click on API credentials

 

21. Click on Install app

 

22. Click on Install

 

23. IMPORTANT STEP: Click on Reveal token once

You can only reveal this token ONE time. If you lose this token you will need to start over by installing a new app.

 

24. Inside your CartHero dashboard visit the settings page from the top right corner. Then select integrations to find the Shopify integration. Click on "Add Shopify Integration"

 

25. Copy the access Token

 

26. Inside of CartHero paste the access Token into the "Api access token" field

 

27. Inside of Shopify copy your API secret key

 

28. Inside of CartHero paste your API secret key

 

29. Click on the Install Button in the bottom right

30. Congrats! You should see a green text beside the Shopify integration that now says "Installed"

Your products will now begin to sync inside of your Catalog. Please allow a few hours for this process to complete if you have a large catalog.
